Part 2

I'm not quite sure why, but these two last parts were extremely hard for me to write. So that means they are pretty bad :( sorry. I might, might, might post one tonight, but tomorrow I will fer sure. Have a great summer!

Part 2

Marc’s POV

We were playing around the monkey bars, when I suddenly fell off. I landed funny and I heard something crack. My arm almost immediately started to ache so bad, that I started crying. I know boys aren’t supposed to cry, but it hurts so much. Vero knelt down to me worriedly, “Marc, Marc! Are you okay?” She asked panicked.

I tried getting up, but it just hurt to much. “Please go get Mme Growsky!” I begged through my tears. She nodded before running as fast as she could back to the school building. A cluster of kids and gathered around me, but I ignored all of their questions. Mme Growsky and the nurse came finally came and they both knelt down to me. The nurse put some ice on my wrist before carefully examining it.

“I’m afraid it’s broken, Marc-Andre.” She told me with a grim face. The things that happened next went by so fast. Next thing I know, my dad had come to pick me up and we were sitting in the hospital.

“Now what color do you want your cast?” The doctor asked kindly.

“Orange.” I replied shyly. Once he set my bones and put my wrist in the cast, it didn’t hurt that much. Finally, I got home again and I laid down on the couch in the den, my wrist was still sore. I sat their miserably, I wasn’t going to be able to play hockey for a whole TWO MONTHS!! It was going to miserable, I wouldn’t have anything to do. I heard a knock on the door before the person opened. I saw that it was Vero and I perked up a little. She had a basket and she put it down next to me before sitting down also.

“I brought you some things to do!” She said brightly. I couldn’t help but feel a little excited, her enthusiasm was undeniable.

She started going through it. “There’s cookies my Maman made, episodes of Scooby-doo, some article on your Patrick dude, a coloring book, and a new Spiderman comic book!” She said proudly.

“Will you just watch some Scooby-Doo?” I asked her softly.

“Of course.” She said before settling down on the couch next to me. She threw a blanket on top of me before we turned on the tv.

She suddenly sat up, “Wait! Can I decorate your cast?” She asked excitedly.

I grinned, “Of course you can, just nothing to girly? And absolutely NOTHING pink.” I told her. Vero took out the markers she brought over in the basket. First, she signed her name huge in a large star. Then she started drawing some other designs on it. I noticed she tried to draw a goalie on it and wrote “NHL” in several places. She was going to keep drawing on it, when my mom ran down the stairs. “Marc! Come up here quickly, you have to see this!”
